Assalamualaikum.
First of all, I want to thank our beloved ICT’s lecturer, Mr.Azmi B. Ibrahim
because he had delivered a lot of information and useful knowledge to us.
Thanks a lot because you always guide us and be patient with our behaviour
especially during lecture time. Alhamdulillah, with your guidance I had already
finish doing all the assignment successfully. Here I make some reflections what
I got along taking this courses based on all the assignments and tasks that you
had given.
Integrating ICT :
For the first assignment, we have been
given a task on how to integrating ICT in Malaysian smart school. We have to
write an essay not more than 500 words in group. From doing this assignment, I learn how to
integrate ICT in school. I get many ideas and opinion from my group members. I
also know how important ICT are in education. There are also many challenges
that have to be faced in integrating ICT in school. As a good future teacher, I
should prepare myself with ICT knowledges and skills.
Smart School:
The second assignment is about an essay
on smart school challenges. From doing this assignment, I know the smart school
history. I also know that there are many obstacles in the smart school
implementation. It is not easy to handle and teach smart school students
because as a teacher I have to prepare and complete myself with ICT knowledges and skills. In my
opinion, all authority have to play their role in order to make sure smart
school implementation successful.
Stella Software:
We also learn about the stella
software. Before this, I do not know what is stella software. I do not what I
can do with this software. Now, I know what is stella software about and how is
important it to a future teacher like me as it is very useful in science
educational. From this stella application, I can increase my students interest
in studying science and motivate them. This is because using stella software I
can do simulation. Simulation software
could provide opportunities to explore concepts and models which are not
readily accessible in the laboratory.
Blog:
Before this I do not know how to create
blog. But after doing this blog I learn my thing about blog. I now can decorate
my blog on my own. Doing blog is not hard as I think. To decorate my blog, I
can choose the suitable background, colour and font of the text.Once we have
familiar with it, we will enjoy blogging and spend much more time on blogging.
We may also be addicted to the blog. As a students, we must divide time wisely
from wasting too much time on blogging. We do the good thing, but avoid doing the bad thing.
Data Logging:
The next assignment is about data
logging. From the data logging study, I learn something new which is related to
an experiment with the sensor. This data logging is quite hard because I am not
understanding enough about the term of engage, empower, enhance and extension.
Thus, in order to make sure we can doing the data logging right and successful
it is better that we understand the term first. Data logging is also important
because as future teacher, we will apply in the teaching and learning process
when at school.
For overall, I had learn many things in
this ICT course. I got new experience. From this course, I gain more knowledge
and information. As a future teacher, I think it is good and compulsory to take ICT course. Lastly, I
hope I can be a good teacher and apply all what I have learn in this ICT course
in my teaching and learning process in future.
